How to Find Which Airlines Fly a Particular Route

Let’s consider how to find which airlines fly a particular route. These search techniques can assist in overcoming the problem of flight aggregators not listing all of the available flights on a particular route. I know many people use a meta-search engine like Skyscanner and assume they’re seeing all of the available flights. They’re not.

There are several websites that can assist with this task.

Flightstats

FlightStats is an online provider of real-time and historical flight information. It is a useful source of flight route information because the service also shows flights that fly your chosen route from connecting airports. Check for route information here. In addition, the FlightStats service offers a host of other statistics, such as a punctuality rating that gives you an idea of how often the flight is late and by how many minutes on average. Also available are statistics for your chosen flight route. These statistics include which times of the day experience the lowest flight delays. (Although the information provided by FlightStats is useful, it is best not to rely upon it as fact in order to book tight transfers.)
